This is a highlight for our staff as it’s such a great opportunity for spiritual renewal, professional growth, networking and connecting with colleagues. This year, in addition to the conference, we also spent some time team building at an Escape Room! Somehow, all three groups made it out of there room and have plenty of stories to tell!

During our learning times, our keynote speaker was Carlos Whittaker. He was excellent. Carlos spoke to us about making, creating and rescuing moments in our life. The big take away was about being intentional in those moments. He also spoke to us about “killing the spider” in our lives, rather than just clearing the proverbial cobwebs. Carlos is an amazing speaker who is active with all kinds of social media outlets. He has been on the Ellen show, Daily show, Wolf Blitzer, and even visited the White House! Yes, when Obama was in power! You can check out one of his podcasts called “Enter Wild”!
