Good afternoon,
Further to my email to you this morning, Alberta Education staff have compiled a comprehensive list of answers to questions that have arisen over the past several days, or that we anticipate will come up. This information is meant to supplement what was included in today’s news release.
I trust this information will be useful for you when communicating with students, parents and staff in the education system. This information will also be available online.
I’ve also attached an open letter I have written to parents. I will be making this available online as well, but I do ask that you share this letter with parents through your own communications channels.
I know there will still be some operational issues that need to be resolved. I want to assure you that I and my ministry will continue to work with you and all education partners on thoughtful and practical measures as we move forward together.
