    Principal’s Message

    Lest We Forget…

In Canada’s land where maple leaves adorn,
We gather, hearts heavy, in Remembrance to mourn,
To honor those who bravely took their stand,
Grandparents’ valor, across many a distant land.

In trenches deep, where courage was the shield,
They faced the storm, on the ocean, and the battlefield,
Their sacrifice, a tale of strength and grace,
A legacy of honor, for our human race.

In poppy fields where crimson blossoms sway,
We find the echoes of a distant day,
Where loved ones fell, in battles fierce and grim,
Their sacrifice hints at a haunting hymn.

The bugle calls, a mournful, haunting sound,
A tribute to the heroes, the lost and the found,
With tearful eyes, we bow our heads in prayer,
For those who fought, selfless they laid bare.

Through generations, tales of valor soar,
From wartime past to now and evermore,
We cherish every tale, each whispered word,
Of sacrifice, in battles seen and heard.

Despite our differences of opinion and policy
Our community needs to be together, we must decree
We stand together to pray for this in Jesus’ mighty name
For we were created to be united all the same

On this Remembrance Day, we need to solemnly unite,
To honor those who fought with all their might,
In Canada’s embrace, their memory lives on,
A tribute to the brave, our debt can never be gone.
