On Monday, Covenant was blessed to have Dr. Eva Olsson come to the school and speak to our junior high students about hate, indifference and intolerance. Her history is one of tragedy, as a prisoner of Auschwitz death camp, Eva told us the story of how when hate is unchecked it turns to rage. She challenged students, parents and staff to leave behind a legacy of love. She reminded us to not be a bystander in life, but stand up and speak out against the atrocities we see in our world.
