On Wednesday, February 28, CCS will be participating in Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is an anti-bullying campaign that originated in Nova Scotia in 2007. Two grade 9 boys witnessed a fellow classmate being bullied for wearing a pink polo shirt to school.  David Shepherd and Travis Price decided to take a stand by buying pink shirts from a thrift store to hand out the next day to other students in support of their bullied classmate.

We would like all students to wear a pink shirt on Wednesday to show their support against bullying.  We will hold an assembly beginning at 8:45 am as well.
