The Orange Shirt Campaign – Every Child Matters remembers the experiences of former students of Indian Residential Schools and is a commitment to ongoing reconciliation in Canada. This year, Orange Shirt Day was on September 30. As that day fell on a weekend, we commemorated the day on October 4. We held an assembly first thing in the morning and had many staff and students who wore orange in support of the campaign.
All staff and students created “attachment hearts” which represent the relationship ties and connections that we have with others.
